Okay, let’s dive into this review! I came down to visit my boyfriend and was complaining about being in the south and not finding a good “Soul food” restaurant.Like everyone else I hoped on google to see what I could find, BOOM Who’s Got Soul Southern Grill popped up. Read some of their reviews and was on the fence, but we had to go see for ourselves. Baaaabe we’re so glade we did! Upon entering the restaurant, the cashier greeted us with a smile, I think she became a little annoyed when I started asking too many questions about the menu though . I decided on Fried catfish, Mac & cheese, sweet potatoes and collard greens. My boyfriend chose Jerk chicken, Mac & cheese and greens with peach cobbler. ALL items order were great, the Catfish could have had a dash or two more of seasoning but was very light and crisp, the greens were very flavorful (no pork or meat included) All around 9 out of 10. Oh and I almost forgot their sweet treat is everything and more, reminds me of “Grandma’s Sun tea in the jar” Ohhhh we’ll be back!

My ex had had this place while I was at work one day and it was so good to him that he saved me some because he felt like I had to try it. And I did. And it was so damn good. (He had catfish, mac, and greens). My friend and I were craving soul food and I remembered this place and suggested it. This food was so damn good it really don’t make no sense. I had the fried chicken and got it smothered (they put the gravy on the side which I appreciated), with greens, mac, and sweet potato soufflé. My friend got turkey wings, Mac, and cabbage. The food was so good we were just eating in silence. That’s when you know it’s good.

I ordered the catfish dinner with sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, cornbread, and peach cobbler for dessert. The food was absolutely delicious everything was seasoned well. The catfish was crispy and flavorful, and the sides were a great complement to the meal. My only complaint is the peach cobbler. At $5.19, I expected a more generous portion and a better balance of filling and crust. Unfortunately, my serving had very little crust, which is my favorite part, and the size felt a bit too small for the price. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and would eat here again but skip the cobbler next time.

Nice restaurant. Sides are great, meat particularly pork chops and fried chicken had no flavor. No seasoning. I went twice.

Had lunch with my wife. The salmon was freshly prepared and excellent, as were her sweet potatoes and pinto beans. My BBQ chicken was excellent, as was the yellow rice. The mac and cheese was so-so. The lemonaides were tasty and satisfying.

I was in town for work and this popped up as a popular place so I decided to check it out. I ordered the Oxtails dinner over rice, side of Mac n cheese and corn, and the peach cobbler. It was FANTASTIC!! Wish I had the time and the stomach to try more items.
